Updated Marvel Movie News

I’m going to try to post all the upcoming movies. Okay. Let’s go.

Note: this will have some writing from my previous post on Marvel movies, but there has just been so much since then!

The Avengers: Age of Ultron — May 1, 2015

So. Age of Ultron. Have you guys seen the trailer? If you haven’t you need to! It looks so creepy… Though, Ultron looks amazing!

Ant Man — July 17, 2015

In my humble opinion, I think they should’ve made this movie before Avengers 2 because of Vision and Ultron, but whatever. It seems, this movie is going to be about the second Ant Man, Scott Lang, rather than the first, Hank Pym. I haven’t done much with Ant Man, though, so I won’t be able to tell if the movie is comics canon or not.

Fantastic Four — August 7, 2015

This is going to be a reboot. I ‘m kinda happy about that. I mean, it was obvious, but still, it’d be creepy after Captain America.

Deadpool — February 12, 2016

Deadpool!! I have been waiting for this FOREVER!

Captain America: Civil War — May 6, 2016

Okay. So, they’re starting the Civil War timeline. I am super excited about this, even though it’s kinda sad. I’ve only read about it on the wiki. Supposedly it will be more about the government overseeing the superheroes rather than the superheroes forcibly revealing their secret identities.

X-Men: Apocalypse — May 27, 2016

Apocalypse! Massive movie. I can’t wait!

Doctor Strange — November 4, 2016

Supposedly, Benedict Cumberbatch is playing Doctor Strange!

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 — May 5, 2017

Thor 3: Ragnarok — July 28, 2017

Ragnarok. 0_0 According to Norse Mythology, the Apocalypse! Scary.

The Runaways — 2017?

No one really knows what is going to happen with this. It’s likely, however, that the script may get turned into a TV show.

Wolverine 3 — March 3, 2017

Fantastic Four 2 — July 14, 2017

Black Panther — November 3, 2017

This’ll be fun.

Avengers: Infinity War: Part I — May 4, 2018

Oh, yes! I have been waiting for this for so long! I read the Infinity Gauntlet last summer, but I haven’t read the Infinity War yet. Is this going to be the Infinity Gauntlet in part?

Captain Marvel — July 6, 2018

Captain Marvel is going to be Carol Danvers, but that’s about all that’s known as of now!

The Inhumans — November 2, 2018

I don’t know much about this, so I’ll be reading a lot of comic books soon!

Avengers: Infinity War: Part 2 — May 3, 2019

The second part.

There are some Marvel TV shows coming out also.

– Luke Cage

– Agent Carter

– Jessica Jones

– Daredevil

– Iron Fist

While I was writing this, some stupid difficulties occurred. I’m pretty sure it’s my fault, but I don’t know. Anyway, if anything is wrong or doesn’t make sense, that would be why. I tried to go over it, but you know.

Bye.

Deadpool Vol. 2: Soul Hunter Summary/Review

So.

If you haven’t read my review on the first volume, you should probably go HERE.

Spoilers, Sweetie!

Soul Hunter. We left Deadpool with Agent Preston’s consciousness in his head. However, the first issue in this volume is an inventory story from way back in the 70’s or 80’s. Deadpool gets approached by a demon called Vetis trying to collect souls. Vetis wants the Merc to get Iron Man to re-start his drinking problem. However, when Deadpool sees Tony Stark, he gets around the deal by putting on the Iron Man suit himself and taking a drink of alcohol. The next issue, however, is back into the present. Deadpool goes to see Agent Preston’s son, but gets shot. Then, Vetis comes back and says that if Deadpool doesn’t kill four certain people, Vetis will kill the necromancer (called Michael) in the last issue. Deadpool starts killing the people while looking for a way to save Michael.

Then, some weird people come, drug Deadpool, and take his organs…

Deadpool kills the necromancer in order for him to get an audience with Mephisto. The Merc has killed three of the required four when he goes to Agent Preston’s house again and convinces her family that she’s stuck in Deadpool’s head. Deadpool then kills the required fourth person. Vetis comes and tells Deadpool he’s going to kill the necromancer anyway, however, as Michael is already dead, Vetis wants to kill Deadpool instead. Deadpool holds him off long enough for Michael (the necromancer) and Mephisto to come and restrain Vetis.

Overall, Soul Hunter was pretty good. The best part, for me, was the inventory issue.  However, I liked volume one better. To me, this volume seemed to not flow very well. I don’t know.

It was cool.

Bye.

Deadpool Vol. 1: Dead Presidents Summary/Review

So.

Note: If you have not yet read Dead Presidents, and plan to, I recommend not reading this post.

Spoilers, Sweetie!

So. I’ve been wanting to read the Deadpool comics for quite a while now. I was quite enthralled with the idea of the character after reading about him on Wikipedia (that’s what I do when I’m bored. LOL).

Basically, Deadpool is a mercenary who never dies and periodically breaks the fourth wall.

Now. On to the actual book.

They don’t really introduce the character, since it’s not really the first issue. There were tons of classic issues back in the day. If you want a good introduction/explanation to the character, either go HERE (Wikipedia) or HERE (YouTube).

Basically, some necromancer (who also works for SHIELD) thinks America is corrupt and raises all the dead presidents to fix the country. However, the presidents just create havoc and want to kill everybody, so SHIELD gets called in. SHIELD then calls in Deadpool to fix the problem. The necromancer tries various ways to stop the presidents, but nothing works. So, Deadpool just goes and kills all the presidents with an enchanted sword from Doctor Strange (yeah, he’s in here too!). However, Agent Preston, Deadpool’s ‘friend’, gets killed, and the necromancer implants her consciousness into Deadpool’s body.

And that’s the end. Obviously, the book was more elaborate than that. I chopped it a bit (Uh huh. Just a bit.).

I really haven’t had much other experience with Deadpool comics in general (except for the Wiki), so I can’t give it a rating on that point.

However, on a comics point of view, Dead Presidents was really awesome. Of course, there is quite a bit of gore, so if you have a very weak stomach, then the Deadpool comics are not for you. Other than that, Deadpool is a really unique character. He can do basically anything because of his healing factor, and he’s really funny.

Just awesome.

Bye.
